When it comes to drawing blood you have a multitude of options available depending on the laboratory selected.
Patient Service Center (PSC)
If you do not wish to draw blood in-office, you can send your patients to a local Patient Service Center. Your patients will receive an email confirmation with the lab requisition and instructions on where to find their nearest PSC and schedule an appointment time convenient for them. The various lab vendors charge and additional fee for this service and it is automatically added to all cash lab orders.

In-Office Blood Draws
When initially setting up your account if you do not already have an account with the selected vendor, a separate account will need to be created for supply ordering and scheduling of pickups.
If you are drawing the blood in-office you will want to ensure that you check the box for "Draw Blood In Office" and selected the corresponding date of collection. Once drawn, you will need to schedule a pickup:
Quest Diagnostics - To schedule specimen pickup by courier, please call 1.866.MYQUEST (1.866.697.8378). Callers, please say “specimen pickup” into the phone to reach dispatch and schedule your pickup.
If you need a local supplies account you can utilize the following Local Supplies Account Setup Form.
Labcorp - This link will allow you to schedule a pickup as well as order supplies.
If you have any questions, please reference the Labcorp Quick Start Guide.
If you are having difficulty ordering Labcorp Supplies through your local account, please follow this link to place a Labcorp Supply Order with our DFW Support Team.
Access Medical - this link will allow you to order supplies and instructions for shipping the kits back to their facility for processing.
NOTE: Be sure to include a copy of the lab requisition with the specimens before sending off for processing. In the case of insurance, be sure to include a copy of the front and back of a patient's insurance card as well as a copy of a government issued photo id.
If you are unsure of what tubes to use, please reference our Lab Collection Requirements.
