The following tasks will be performed in the Lab Configuration under "Administration". To get started, let's navigate to the Administration Section:
Select "Administration" from the top navigation.
Select "Lab Configuration" from the navigation menu on the left.
Manage Individual Lab Tests
In order to access the individual lab tests that your practice has been activated for, let's start at the Administration Section:
Select "Tests" to toggle to individual lab testing. From here you will have multiple options available to you:
Filtering / Searching for Tests
Select the "Funnel" to filter by each Laboratory as well as the option to toggle "Archived" lab tests for your practice.
You can "Search" for individual lab tests by typing the name of the test or the corresponding test code to find the appropriate testing.
Edit Individual Test Pricing
Select "Pencil" in order to "Edit" the individual testing.
Edit the "Fee" that you wish to charge for each individual test.
Manage Lab Combos
Labs can be purchased individually or as part of a combo (multiple lab tests). Our platform allows you to select from commonly used combos as well as create your own. Additionally, you can configure default ICD-10 codes to be placed on an order for these combos.
Create a New Lab Combo From Scratch
Select "+ Create New Combo" in the lower right hand corner of your screen.
Enter a name for your Combo where it says "Add a Name".
Select the appropriate Laboratory.
Select the corresponding gender to make the combo gender specific. Not selecting a gender will make the combo gender agnostic.
In the "Add new lab test" box, enter the name of the test you are wishing to add or the corresponding lab identifier.
Set the additional management fee for the lab combo that you have created.
Click "Save as Draft" to save the combo as a draft. If you wish to activate the combo immediately, click the down arrow and select "Save & Activate".
Clone an Existing Lab Combo
Select the three dots
to the right of the combo that you wish to clone.Change the name of the new combo you wish to create.
In the "Add new lab test" box, enter the name of the test you are wishing to add or the corresponding lab identifier.
Set the additional management fee for the lab combo that you have created.
Click "Save as Draft" to save the combo as a draft. If you wish to activate the combo immediately, click the down arrow and select "Save & Activate".
Filter / Search Lab Combos
You can "Search" for combos by name by typing keywords into the "Search Combo" box to search combos by name.
You can "Filter" combos by selecting the "Funnel" which will allow you to filter combos by Laboratory as well as display any archived combos.
Edit an Existing Lab Combo
In order to maintain historical data, the information that you can edit on a combo is limited to the following:
Combo Name
Additional Fees
If you need to edit any additional items in a combo, you can instead "Clone an Existing Combo" and make the necessary changes and deactivating the combo.
Manage Default ICD-10 Codes
Select the three dots
to the right of the combo that you wish to edit default diagnosis codes for..Scroll down to the section heading "Select ICD-10 Codes".
Click on the
icon to bring up the search box of ICD-10 Diagnosis Codes.Select from your organizational favorites or search by code / diagnosis in the search box and select the corresponding codes.
Click "Accept" to add these codes to the corresponding Lab Combo.
Click "Update" to have these codes automatically added to future lab orders for the corresponding Lab Combo.
Archive a Lab Combo
If you no longer wish to order a particular combo you can "Archive" a combo you can archive it by dinging the following:
Identify which combo that you wish to "Archive" and click the three dots "..." to the right.
Select "Archive" to hide the respective combo from future ordering.
