Charting Templates

Help making charting your patient's interactions easier with templated notes.

Snippet notes make it easy to place a pre-configured line of text or paragraph anywhere notes may be accepted on the platform. We have two types of snippet notes and they can be created as follows:

Personal Snippets

Personal snippets are limited to the user currently logged in.

  1. Navigate to the "Administration" section by clicking on the

    tab at the top of the platform.

  2. Select "Snippet Notes" from the navigation to the left.

  3. Click on the button in the lower right hand corner of your screen.

  4. Select "Personal" to create this as a Personal Snippet that only you will see.

  5. Enter the "Key" that you will want to use when placing this snippet in a text box field.

  6. Enter the "Snippet Text" that will replace the "Snippet Key" when used in any supported text box field.

  7. Click "Save" to close the window and save the newly created snippet.

Global Snippets

Global snippets can be used by any user within your practice.

  1. Navigate to the "Administration" section by clicking on the

    tab at the top of the platform.

  2. Select "Snippet Notes" from the navigation to the left.

  3. Click on the button in the lower right hand corner of your screen.

  4. Select "Global" to create this as a Global Snippet that anyone in the practice can see and use.

  5. Enter the "Key" that you will want to use when placing this snippet in a text box field.

  6. Enter the "Snippet Text" that will replace the "Snippet Key" when used in any supported text box field.

  7. Click "Save" to close the window and save the newly created snippet.

Using Snippets

Snippets allow you to place commonly used blocks of text into various text boxes on the platform.

  1. In order to use a snippet you will want to click into a supported text box (Any multi-line text box field supports snippets).

  2. To initiate the snippet menu you will enter the "#" symbol followed by the "Snippet Key" used for the snippet you wish to place.

  3. Additionally, you can select from the list of snippets that will pop-up as hints.
